I have been given some advice about my photography. Apparently jewellery sells better online if the images are lifestyle rather than cutouts (like I normally have).
Luckily for me my photographer is fab at both. Really pleased with the results but not sure which I prefer.
I think your so right, things look better when they have some form of context. And these pics are gorgeous! My fave is the white antique frame shots. Although all set off your work beautifully
I love all of them except for the one on the pillow. In my opinion it is too overcrowded and you lose the beauty of the charms. The less intricate the background the better!!
Lifestyle wins for sure. Context adds so much value, but Elle has a good point about not competing with the jewellery. 4, 6 and 7 are my favourites. The one with the magazine brings to mind a crucifix hanging in a bible...
